Service area — Interim Management
We take responsibility until the organisation carries again.
When key positions are vacant or change needs pace, we fill the role — as interim COO, divisional, programme or transformation lead. Available at short notice, clearly mandated, with a defined end.
Scope of work
- Interim COO, plant and divisional management on time
- Programme and project management in critical initiatives
- Transformation lead for change under time pressure
- Bridging vacant key positions until a permanent appointment
- Fast stabilisation of delivery capability, quality and cost
- Building the management routine: target picture, priorities, metrics, escalation
- Enabling managers and teams during live operations
- Mandate clarity — role, brief, decision paths, duration
- Structured handover to the line with documented standards
We at Röhrig Industrie Consulting take operational responsibility on time — inside the line, with a clear brief and defined decision-making authority. The first weeks build the picture: where the company is losing time, margin and delivery reliability, and which decisions are sitting undone. Out of that comes a short list of priorities that still holds when daily business pushes against it — and on top of it a management routine with a few dependable metrics, clear owners and escalation that works.
A mandate is only successful once it runs without us. So we work with the existing managers from the first day, document standards, secure knowledge and prepare the handover rather than improvising it. The frame is written down beforehand: role, area of responsibility, targets, duration and decision paths. Interim mandates are a service on time on a mandate basis, not a contract for work with a guaranteed outcome; remuneration is on a day-rate basis.
