General information

The following gives a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified.

Data collection on this website

Data on this website is processed by the site operator, whose contact details you will find in the section “Controller”.

Some of your data is collected when you provide it to us (for example through the contact form). Other data is recorded automatically when you visit the site — in particular technical data such as browser, operating system and the time of the visit.

2. Controller

The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.

Personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) GDPR:

  • point (a) — consent of the data subject
  • point (b) — performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps
  • point (c) — compliance with a legal obligation
  • point (f) — protection of legitimate interests

4. Retention period

Unless a more specific retention period is stated, your personal data stays with us until the purpose for processing it no longer applies. If you withdraw your consent, or make a justified request for erasure, your data is deleted unless statutory retention obligations prevent it.

5. Hosting

This website is hosted on Amazon Web Services in the Frankfurt region (eu-central-1), using S3, CloudFront, Route 53 and AWS WAF. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and performant delivery).

6. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in the address bar and the padlock symbol in your browser.

7. Server log files

The provider automatically collects information in server log files that your browser transmits: browser type, operating system, referrer URL, hashed IP address and the time of the request. This data is not merged with other sources and is deleted after 30 days at the latest. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.

8. Contact form

When you send us an enquiry through the contact form, your details including the contact data you provide are stored with us in order to handle the enquiry. Transmission is encrypted via AWS API Gateway, processing takes place in an AWS Lambda function, and the email is sent via Amazon SES to info@roehrig-consulting.de. We do not pass this data on without your consent. Retention: until the enquiry has been dealt with. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(b) or (1)(f) GDPR.

9. Enquiries by email or telephone

Enquiries by email or telephone are stored and processed including all personal data contained in them. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(b) or (1)(f) GDPR.

10. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to defend against automated attacks. Turnstile works without cookies. Technical data (IP address, user agent) may be transmitted to Cloudflare Ireland Limited, 25/28 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.
